A former leader of a Black Lives Matter (BLM) chapter in Rhode Island said that among the present candidates, Donald Trump talks directly about the problems of black people and is, therefore, the greatest option for the black community.
While appearing on Newsmax’s National Report, Mark Fisher said former President Donald J. Trump’s track record speaks for itself, and he wants to give him another chance because he has done far more for black Americans than any president in his lifetime.
While 92% of Black voters backed Joe Biden in 2020, a new poll out in mid-December showed support was dwindling as we approach the 2024 election.
According to reports, in the run-up to the 2024 election, GenForward polls show that support for former president Trump among black Americans is skyrocketing.
For the better part of half a century, Democrats have enjoyed a lopsided victory among black voters. Only 8% of Black voters supported Trump in 2020.
A full seventeen percent of blacks are now in favor of Trump, according to GenForward polls. Just 20% of Black Americans would choose someone else over Trump or Biden if given the choice.
The polls show Hispanic support for Trump rose four points from the 2020 election cycle. Trump has the backing of 36% of Latinos.
Though he doesn’t identify with either party, Fisher has grown weary of those who take advantage of the schisms in America, according to Fisher.
He described himself as an autonomous thinker with his own views and ideas. He said he doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind. You should expect a great deal of resistance when you undertake anything that goes against the grain. Personal opinions are irrelevant. People are taking advantage of the divisiveness and misery in the United States, but Mark Fisher says he’s here to stop it.
