Billionaire Jeff Bezos attended a star-studded Met Gala afterparty with his stunning fiance Lauren Sanchez, after his fiance attended the Gala solo turning heads and cameras all around with her rebellious look compared to her previous outfits from Met Gala’s past events.
Lauren Sanchez reunited with Bezos for the attendance of a Met Gala afterparty, hosted at The Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel in the West Village of Manhattan. Before the afterparty, Sanchez was seen taking on the event’s red carpet solo, without her billionaire fiance. Sanchez, who is 54 and a former television anchor, wore one outfit to the Met Gala and another to the afterparty hosted nearby.
Photographers beamed at the sight of Sanchez in her first outfit, which was a black dress designed by Oscar de la Renta covered in panels to give the illusion of shattered glass. According to Vogue magazine, the idea for her first outfit was to stray away from the very common, and revealing looks that she has donned in the past, to change things up for viewers, and to keep them unexpecting of what she may wear next.
What caught the paparazzi’s eyes the most however was the white gown she changed into for the afterparty, which resembles the sexier, more revealing outfits she has worn in the past. Sanchez changed into a white gown that gave a more robust look to her upper torso, with colorful laces streaming off the sides and bottoms of the gown, appealing to the party’s theme of The Garden of Time. The most eye-catching pieces of them all were the orange diamond earrings she sported, as well as her enormous diamond engagement ring from Bezos.
Before the afterparty, Bezos met his future wife for a few pictures at the Metropolitan Museum steps, sporting a black tuxedo. The afterparty the couple attended welcomed other guests such as FKA Twigs, Lil Nas X, and Camila Cabello.
