Elon Musk Met With Biden’s Top Officials In D.C.

(FreedomBeacon.com)- Chief Twit Elon Musk met with White House aides in Washington, D.C. to discuss the electric vehicle industry and electrification, according to The Western Journal. The White House press secretary confirmed that President Biden and Musk did not personally meet.

The relationship between the owner of Tesla and the president has been rocky. In November, Biden backtracked on a previous statement that the White House was not going to conduct a national security review into Musk, according to American Pigeon. The administration reportedly determined to investigate Musk’s acquisition of Twitter and Starlink ventures.

White House aides Mitch Landrieu, who oversees spending on infrastructure, and John Podesta, Biden’s main man on his clean energy initiatives, sat down with Musk in his office in downtown Washington to talk about how Biden’s infrastructure and climate legislation could help with the manufacturing of electric vehicles and charging stations, The Western Journal reported.

They also discussed how people could be encouraged to make the transition from gas-powered to electric vehicles, as well as choose the electric options for heat pumps and stoves, with rebates and tax credits as the carrot on the stick.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the meeting “says a lot” about how the president sees his energy legislation.

“I think it’s important that his team, senior members of his team, had a meeting with Elon Musk,” she said.

Since acquiring Twitter, Musk has released internal documents, known as the “Twitter Files,” highlighting the bias of the company in its bid against free speech. In one of the revelations, the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story was confirmed to have been censored with the help of Hunter Biden’s lawyer, according to American Pigeon.

In late December, a set of “files” from conservative commentator Rogan O’Handley implicated Biden’s team in trying to silence “false or misleading information,” according to Western Journal.
