Ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard Eyeing Trump’s Running Mate Position

In an interview, former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said that she would embrace the opportunity to be former President Trump’s Vice President in 2024.

Gabbard claimed she would say yes if that call ever came from Donald Trump,

According to her, America can only recover if strong political leaders prioritize the welfare of the people over their own interests and if we can eradicate the systemic corruption that permeates our government agencies and the administrative state.

A Democrat from Hawaii, Gabbard served in Congress from 2013 to 2021 and endorsed Democrat Joe Biden in 2020 after she withdrew her candidacy.

In 2022, she announced that she was quitting the Party.

Gabbard made her case in a video, accusing the Democrats of being a group of elite warmongers who want to divide the country and strip us of our fundamental liberties.

She said she couldn’t stay a part of the Democrat Party anymore. It’s run by a group of elitists who are warmongers motivated by foolishness. They divide us by making every issue about race and fuel anti-white racism. They’re hostile to those with faith and spirituality. They actively try to undermine the God-given freedoms that are in our Constitution.  They use national security as a weapon against their political opponents. They promote illegal immigration and open borders.  And most importantly, they’re bringing us closer to nuclear war.

While discussing the independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Gabbard said that she and Kennedy had multiple meetings and had become friends. According to her remarks, he asked Gabbard to run with him, but she respectfully declined after considering it.

Kennedy eventually selected Nicole Shanahan to be his running mate.

Gabbard didn’t disclose why she turned down the offer.

Gabbard released her book, ‘For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind,’ on April 30th.
