Whoopi Goldberg Actually Defends Joe Biden Of Abandoning Granddaughter

Whoopi Goldberg and her cohorts of ABC’s The View supported President Joe Biden on Monday, saying he should not be blamed for failing to celebrate the birth of his seventh grandchild.

According to Goldberg, President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has ignored his four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, who he shares with ex-stripper Lunden Alexis Roberts. So, it’s not realistic to assume the president will treat the kid as if she were his grandchild.

Goldberg brought up a New York Times opinion piece criticizing the president for “scarring” his granddaughter. She knows her grandpa is the President of the United States, but he shuns any contact with his granddaughter.

According to Goldberg, his son had a kid with a lady, but he and the mother had a falling out, and he now provides financially for the child but doesn’t accept them. According to Maureen Dowd, the president’s silence harms the child.

Goldberg dismissively quipped that Dowd’s gripe should be with Hunter, not Joe because it’s not his kid.

Goldberg then asked the table for feedback, and Ana Navarro, his cohost, jumped right in.

Navarro said she agreed “totally” with Whoopi. Dowd’s condemnation should have gone to his son, Hunter, adding that it would be difficult for Joe to be a grandpa to the girl because Hunter isn’t acting like the father.

Navarro then turned her ire on the conservatives and the MAGA crowd, saying they were using Hunter Biden’s problems for political gain.

Fox News’ Democratic cohost Jessica Tarlov said on Thursday’s show that President Biden might try and warm up to Navy Joan and push his son to do the same.

Tarlov said it was “unnecessary ugliness” on the part of the First Family to deny the child’s existence. She also implied that if the Bidens addressed this problem, voters might look upon them more kindly.

It’s an odd take for the President to mirror his son’s callous disassociation with a child he fathered. It’s even odder for the women on The View to applaud the President’s actions.

Does anyone believe these same women wouldn’t use the unfortunate circumstances to lash out politically if this happened in the Trump family?
