White House Attacks Donald Trump’s Controversial Meeting

(FreedomBeacon.com)- The White House press secretary criticized the former president for the latest controversy that has engulfed the political world. In a recent press briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre weighed in on former President Trump’s meeting with Kanye West, now known as Ye, and Nick Fuentes, according to Mediaite.

Trump has reportedly been blindsided by his meeting with Ye. The two were scheduled to have a dinner together at Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago, but Ye arrived with three guests, one of whom being Nick Fuentes, a self-proclaimed white nationalist and anti-Semite.

During an interview with Tim Pool that quickly went sour, Ye admitted that Trump had no idea who Fuentes was. It has since come out that the entire event seemed to be a ploy to make Trump look bad. It worked, as Democrats and Republicans alike are lambasting the former president.

When a reporter asked about the White House’s stance on the former president’s dinner, Jean-Pierre explicitly condemned it, saying that President Biden himself “totally rejects bigotry, racism, antisemitism.”

She added that not speaking out about the “poisonous and dangerous kind of remarks or representation” presents another danger, urging that everyone should continue to speak out and condemn the actions of Trump.

In a video posted to Twitter a couple of days after the dinner, which has now been deleted, Ye said that he suggested Trump be his vice president, which angered him and caused him to curse out his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Ye also said that he criticized Trump for not doing more for those arrested because of January 6.

Despite not knowing who Fuentes was, Ye said in the video that “Trump is really impressed with Nick Fuentes.”

Speaking to NBC News, Nick Fuentes said that he had praised Trump as his “hero” at the dinner, but also opened up about him becoming an establishment bore that is likely to lose in the next race.

A longtime Trump advisor who did not go on record reportedly told NBC that Fuentes being invited by Ye was part of a setup.

“The master troll got trolled,” the adviser said. “Kanye punked Trump.”
