The court’s decision mandates ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, to establish a physical presence in Venezuela within 90 days. This move aims to ensure the platform’s compliance with local regulations and improve accountability. The fine must be paid within eight days and will be used to “create a TikTok victims fund,” as stated by Judge D’Amelio.

Government’s Stance on Social Media Dangers
