Twitter Suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene For Saying “He Is Risen”

( For the second time in less than a month, Twitter suspended the account of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene — “by accident.”

On Monday, Twitter announced that it locked the account of Greene, a Republican Representative from Georgia, mistakenly after she sent an Easter tweet.

For 12 hours Sunday morning, Greene couldn’t access her account. The tweet that got Greene in trouble with Twitter — by mistake, of course — read:

“He is Risen. Death could not hold him. Rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Wishing you a blessed and joy filled Easter!”

Unable to post to Twitter, Greene took to an account she has on Gab, another social media platform, writing:

“After tweeting, ‘He is risen! Happy Easter!’ I was suspended this morning for 12 hours! Was it my Christian faith? My never ending demand to an end to murdering God’s creating in the womb? Is it my fight to protect our greatest right to defend ourselves, come and take them? My willingness to Fire Fauci?

“Maybe my fight to stop mandated vaccine passports? Or how about calling out Ilhan Omar? Or really … Fighting with every ounce of my body to Save America and Stop Socialism!!!

“Message to Big Tech: I’LL NEVER STOP!!! You can’t silence me. You can’t stop me. The People are with me. And so are the greatest conservatives especially President Trump!!!”

Twitter tried to save itself, issuing a statement from a “spokesperson” that said:

“We use a combination of technology and human review to enforce the Twitter Rules across the service. In this case, our automated systems took enforcement action on the account referenced in error. This action has been reversed, and access to the account has been reinstated.”

If this was the first time Twitter made a “mistake” in locking Greene’s account, it could be understandable — except it’s not the first time. Just a few weeks ago, Twitter suspended her account only to come out and say it was a mistake.

That time, Twitter said the automated systems were again responsible for banning Greene. They even put out a similar statement to the one this weekend, to ease people’s minds that they aren’t playing favorites.

Greene would have none of that, though. She posted to her more than 380,000 followers on Twitter:

“I was just told @Twitter suspended me for 12 hrs in ‘error,’ on the same day Dems introduced a resolution to expel me from Congress. What a coincidence?”

Greene has been making noise on Capitol Hill ever since she was elected to the House of Representatives. Democrats particularly despise her for being outspoken on issues such as gun control, abortion and voter fraud.

Democrats led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi even went as far as removing her from all of her committee assignments.

Liberals in Big Tech are after her now, too. Even though Twitter says they have now banned Greene twice from their platform in error, it’s a little hard to believe, especially as they continue to silence conservative voices with no balance on the other side.
