(FreedomBeacon.com)- Last week, former President Donald Trump sat down for a wide-ranging interview with the NELK Boys’ Full Send Podcast in which he explained why he always plays the Village People’s “YMCA” at parties.
When discussing music that he likes to play at his Mar-a-Lago parties, Trump said he picks the music he likes. And one of his go-to songs is “YMCA” which Trump said always “gets ‘em rocking.”
He noted that “YMCA” is called the “gay national anthem,” and added that it “gets people up, and it gets ‘em moving.”
It was recently reported that the former president started acting as DJ for members of his Mar-a-Lago club during weekend events. In a note to club members, Trump said the music would be “amazing” and “lots of fun.”
The Full Send Podcast interview with Trump, which initially aired on Wednesday, was taken down on YouTube for allegedly violating its “misinformation policy.” YouTube claimed that during the interview, the former president advanced “false claims that widespread fraud, errors, and glitches changed the outcome” of the 2020 presidential election.
In response to YouTube pulling the podcast, Trump released a statement blasting “Big Tech lunatics” and asking “whatever happened to free speech in our Country?”
While the interview is off YouTube, it remains available on Spotify as well as Rumble.
