Trump Takes Action on America’s Health Crisis

President Donald Trump has taken a bold step towards addressing the nation’s growing health concerns by signing an Executive Order to establish the Make America Healthy Again Commission. The initiative, spearheaded by newly appointed U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., aims to revolutionize the healthcare narrative in America.

“President Donald Trump has signed an Executive Order establishing the President’s Make America Healthy Again Commission,” the White House announced.

The Commission’s primary task is to investigate and address the root causes of America’s escalating health crisis, with an initial focus on childhood chronic diseases. This comprehensive approach comes in response to mounting health issues, including increasing rates of chronic illnesses and insufficient access to quality care in various communities.

Dems won’t know what to do when the commission gets to work proving Robert F. Kennedy Jr. right about everything that said he was wrong about, will they?

Kennedy and Trump are doing this for a reason.

Six in 10 U.S. adults have at least one chronic condition, and four in 10 have two or more. The United States also holds the highest age-standardized cancer incidence rate among 204 countries, with an 88% increase in cancer from 1990 to 2021.

The Commission is tasked with producing an assessment of the childhood chronic disease crisis, including international comparisons, within 100 days. Following this, they will develop a strategy to improve the health of America’s children based on the assessment findings within 180 days.

The Make America Healthy Again Commission’s four main policy directives include transparency in health research, prioritizing research on illness causes, working with farmers for healthy food, and expanding treatment options. This multifaceted approach aims to address the complex factors contributing to the nation’s health crisis.

The Commission will scrutinize the use of common medications, including stimulants, and evaluate mental health interventions and weight-loss drugs. It will also assess the effectiveness of federal data on childhood health and current child health education and funding programs.

A key goal of the Commission is to restore trust in medical and scientific institutions. Public trust in the U.S. health system is currently low, with only a third of Americans expressing confidence. To address this, the Commission will hold public hearings and events to gather expert input and ensure transparency in its processes.

“[It will be] not bought and paid for by Big Pharma, and I will charge them with investigating what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic illnesses. And then, I will ask them to publish recommendations for how every American child can have a safe and healthy childhood,” President Trump said.

The initiative also suggests potential changes to health insurance coverage to include expanded treatment options and support for lifestyle changes and disease prevention. By fostering innovation and adopting a systemic approach, the Make America Healthy Again Commission strives to reduce health inequities and elevate the wellbeing of the American populace.

Trump has truly followed through on his promise to give Kennedy the power he needs to make America a healthy country again.
