In a disturbing turn of events, Texas real estate mogul Brad Chandler Simpson is not only facing police scrutiny but also harsh criticism from his own brother over the disappearance of his wife, Suzanne Clark Simpson. Despite his arrest, Simpson is refusing to cooperate, leaving his family and the public outraged.

At a glance:

  • Brad Chandler Simpson, a wealthy Texas businessman, has been arrested following the disappearance of his wife, Suzanne.
  • His brother, Barton Tinsley Simpson, publicly slammed him for not cooperating with the investigation.
  • Police are still searching for Suzanne’s remains, focusing on a landfill in San Antonio.

The disappearance of 51-year-old Suzanne Clark Simpson, a mother of four, has gripped Texas as police continue searching for her remains in a San Antonio landfill. Brad Simpson, 53, was arrested on October 9, just three days after Suzanne vanished from their $1.5 million Olmos Park mansion.

Shockingly, Brad’s own brother, Barton, has condemned him for refusing to work with authorities. In a statement posted to Facebook, Barton stated, “Until Brad chooses to cooperate, we will continue to cooperate for him, as we have from the very beginning of this heartbreaking ordeal.” He further expressed his disbelief, saying this was not how they were raised, calling Brad’s refusal “unacceptable.”

The police have had little luck in locating Suzanne, despite intensive searches in the landfill where investigators believe there’s a “good chance” of finding her remains. Neighbors reported hearing screams from a nearby wooded area the night she disappeared after seeing the couple in a heated argument.

Adding to the mystery, an affidavit revealed Brad had called his brother after Suzanne vanished, apologizing for “all the problems he had caused.” Their youngest child also told school staff about witnessing violence between her parents, recounting that her father had hit her mother and taken her phone away.

Brad Chandler Simpson, who initially cooperated with police, now faces charges of assault causing bodily injury and family violence. As authorities and family members continue to search for Suzanne, the case has shaken the local community.
