Teen Missing From Sacramento Found in Portland With 25-Year-Old Man

The Sacramento teenager who went missing earlier this year was found in Portland, Oregon in the company of a man who was arrested by Portland Police.

Isabel Gallego was reported missing in April when she was 17 years old. Sacramento Police said at the time that the teenager was likely in the company of Kyree Jackson, a 25-year-old black male with two outstanding felony warrants in Sacramento County.

According to Portland Police Bureau spokesman Mike Benner, Gallego was found by police on Thursday, July 18 in Southeast Portland, and after being offered assistance by officers, she left with another individual.

The Sacramento Police said Kyree Jackson was located by Portland police and arrested on the outstanding warrant. They said Gallego was “located safely” and that she planned to return to her family in Sacramento.

Jackson was booked into Multnomah County Jail on three felony charges related to his outstanding warrant. He was also charged in a separate case with unlawful possession of a firearm, felony possession of a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm in public.

Portland Police did not say how Gallego was connected to Jackson’s arrest.

Jackson was wanted in Sacramento County for felony illegal possession of a firearm and felony theft of a motor vehicle.

Anthony Gamble, a spokesman with the Sacramento Police said Jackson was also wanted on charges of pandering and endangering the life of a minor.

The high school senior was reported missing by her parents when she disappeared after leaving the house on April 19 without her cell phone and carrying only a backpack.

According to her mother Julie Gallego, Isabel met Kyree Jackson about two weeks earlier and her friends described him as “a pimp.”

Authorities tracked Gallego to Portland and she was later spotted in Seattle, Washington. The Sacramento Police said at the time of her disappearance that she was like a victim of human trafficking.
