Stacey Abrams’ Communist Party Ties Found By Investigators

( Stacey Abrams, the far-left “voting rights activist” who has for years campaigned against loosening voter ID laws and stood against making elections more secure, works for an American organization with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

The revelation comes from The National Pulse, a conservative outlet that has previously reported on Democrats’ connections to the authoritarian Chinese regime.

The Center for American Progress, which describes itself as an “independent nonpartisan policy institute,” has reportedly “collaborated extensively with the Chinese Communist Party” – and Stacey Abrams sits on its board.

In 2018, the think tank announced that former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams would be joining to serve on the board of directors, issuing a statement that said Abrams “urged Americans to fight for progress through litigation that combats regressions laws and expands voting rights.”

That’s code for making elections easier to rig, right?

The National Pulse describes how CAP has “repeatedly partnered with the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) on sponsored trips to China, reports, and other endeavors for over a decade.”

The outlet said that CUSEF was aided by many Western lobbying firms, and according to a Foreign Agent Registration Act filing with the Department of Justice, actively engages in propaganda. Specifically, the filing says that the foundation “effectively disseminates positive messages to the media, key influencers and opinion leaders, and the general public.”

And, since 2009, Stacey Abrams’ has sat back and watched as CAP continued to send delegations to China as part of the CUSEF programs. Photographs taken in 2011 even show a delegation from the think tank meeting with high-ranking Chinese Communist Party officials in the Great Hall of People.

It wasn’t just an opportunity to take photos, either. A report from the Chinese embassy describes how Chinese officials urged the U.S. officials – including former Obama adviser and Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton – to “properly deal with Taiwan-related issues and attach importance to China’s concerns.”

The National Pulse report also showed how CUSEF boasted about how its “expert delegations from CAP visited Beijing” under Podesta’s leadership – when he was chairman – and even co-authored a number of reports about the future of China-U.S. relations.

“Officials and experts in both countries need a more effective dialogue with their citizens on the importance of the U.S.-China relationship and what new- model relations exercise is designed to prevent and achieve,” one memo read.

And perhaps most shocking, emails obtained from Senior Fellow Melanie Hart, who is also the CAP China Policy Director, show that she was “fine” with Chinese think tanks partnering with Western ones, praising the “international influencing.”

Why hasn’t Stacey Abrams disavowed this organization yet?
