Singer’s Home Raided, But Suspect Is Arrested

(FreedomBeacon.com)- This week, there was a break-in at Billie Eilish’s family home, and a guy was taken into custody regarding the incident.

According to ABC 7, who broke the story, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call on Thursday night about a man in black clothing climbing over a fence at a residence in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The house is registered to the world-famous pop star’s parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell. Although Billie and Finneas, Eilish’s older brother, no longer reside there, they both grew up in the house. The singer confirmed that she still stayed with her parents as recently as last year.

No injuries were reported; however, it is still unknown if anything was taken from the premises or if anyone was there. A suspect has been detained, according to the police, and video of the suspect’s detention shows a man being handcuffed and restrained by at least three LAPD officers. Police can be seen examining the house for evidence in video from the location, and ABC7 correspondent Chris Cristi tweeted aerial photos of the place and the statement that LAPD robbery investigators are looking into the case.

My relationship with my home has not changed, just like with my parents and brother,” Eilish said in March. She said that for some folks who knew her growing up or haven’t seen her in a while, it might be startling to realize how little has changed.  The only difference between her life now and when she was a child is that she has no pals.

She believes that growing up in her parent’s house “shaped her. It helped her become who she was and provided her with her possibilities.

Eilish had to hire a security guard to sleep in her parent’s living room in 2019 after her location was posted online and a crowd of fans showed up at her door. It was incredibly traumatizing, she recalled at the time.

“It’s terrible, but I don’t feel at all secure in my home anymore. I adore my home,” Eilish said.
