Ron DeSantis Is Crushing Competition In New Poll

( The campaign for the November election, in which former Democratic congressman Charlie Crist and the Republican governor of the Sunshine State Ron DeSantis will square off, is already heating up.

During the briefing on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre charged DeSantis with inciting political unrest that is endangering American democracy. She said that only last week, Governor Ron DeSantis advocated for physical violence against Dr. Fauci.

At a “Keep Florida Free” event on August 24, the governor cracked the following joke: I’m sick of seeing him. I know he says he’s going to retire. Someone must grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac.”

After the Democratic Governors Association issued a survey showing DeSantis leading Crist 51 percent to 46 percent, the White House launched an attack.

Even if the survey puts Crist within striking distance, his victory is a landslide compared to the governor’s narrow victory in 2018.

When Crist declared he was leaving Congress to concentrate on the campaign, it demonstrated his seriousness about the contest. The former Republican governor, who later switched parties, named Karla Hernandez-Mats his running mate.

The DeSantis campaign wasted no time criticizing the head of the Miami-Dade teachers union for her opposition to DeSantis’ initiative to assist military veterans in obtaining teaching positions, creating a commercial using a videotape of her criticizing veteran military teachers on MSNBC.

Karla has an issue with the way DeSantis supports the military. She claims they are deprofessionalizing careers. She said four years are spent in teacher training programs. They have bachelors. They have masters. They hold Ph.D. degrees. She feels it is incredibly demeaning to instructors and educators to believe that someone with four years of military experience could succeed in classrooms.
Karla Hernandez-Mats is among many pushing left-wing ideology back into Florida schools, despite DeSantis’ repeated efforts to drive them out.

As a result, she was given the DeSantis campaign monicker “Karla Marx.”
