RNC Leaps Into Action To Take Advantage Of FBI Raid

(FreedomBeacon.com)- Grifters will continue to grift. While Donald Trump seized the opportunity given to him by the recent FBI raid on his Florida home in Mar-a-Lago in order to make what looked like a campaign video, the Republican National Committee took the opportunity to fundraise. Within hours of the raid, the RNC sent out mass text messages and emails seeking donations from Republicans and conservatives, according to National File.

A tweet from a New York Times reporter shows a text message from the RNC reading, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL: UNPRECEDENTED move Biden’s FBI RAIDS Pres. Trump’s home. Time to take back Congress.” The text included a link with a landing page that led to a box with a check for a recurring donation.

“It’s hard to believe it but it’s true. Biden’s FBI raided President Trump’s beautiful Florida home. They don’t go after Hillary or Hunter, but they go after Pres. Trump,” the RNC wrote in a fundraising email.

Capital letters are indicative of urgency and intended to generate rage. They simulate someone shouting and are designed to get a base riled up—if it works. Another message encouraged supporters “to step up RIGHT NOW to stand with the GOP & STOP JOE BIDEN” by donating.

“Contribute ASAP to show your support for President Trump’s legacy and to stand with the GOP,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told conservatives. But the grift did not stop there as McDaniel told the audience on Fox & Friends to donate to Mehmet Oz if they are against the FBI raid.

Even the House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was not exempt from asking for money, as his team employed the same marketing strategy of patronizing conservatives. “FURIOUS! The DOJ has been WEAPONIZED,” the message read. “We are at a PIVOTAL moment in our nation’s history. Don’t let Biden’s DOJ get away with this!” directing supporters to a donations page.

GOP Congressional candidate for Florida’s 24th district criticized the GOP in a tweet, saying that they will do nothing other than fundraise.
