Reporters Burst Into Laughter At Dr. Faucis Very Serious Joke

( Reports laughed at Dr. Anthony Fauci’s joke about contradicting false information that came from the former president. At his last White House press briefing, the retiring infectious disease expert fielded questions from reporters over the last two years of the pandemic, according to Mediaite.

One reporter reportedly asked Fauci what lessons he learned about maintaining the public’s trust which could be used to reference in the future. Fauci responded that one must be cautious in their language and be clear that conditions will change during the course of the pandemic.

When asked about the “dubious advice, some questionable medical advice coming out of non-doctors at this podium,” Fauci cracked a joke in what appeared to be exhaustion, saying that he spoke against those voices.

“Well, you remember, if you were around, that at this podium I contradicted those, which set off a whole series of things in my life,” he said smirking.

The self-proclaimed “Mr. Science” then offered advice for dealing with misinformation in the future. He stated that people who believe the wrong things are tirelessly working to spread it, so the best efforts that can be made to counter this is for the “people who have correct information, who take science seriously, who don’t have strange, way-out theories about things but who base what they say on evidence and data” to speak up.

Fauci’s rise to prominence came with the help of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who was fearful of the development of bioweapons by enemies of the United States. With the help of Bush, he appointed Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, at the top of an expensive power infrastructure to deal with a biodefense strategy.

Journalist Ashley Rindsberg argues that Fauci is not a “public health expert” but a “biodefense national security official.”
