(FreedomBeacon.com)- Libertarian Republican Senator Rand Paul challenged President Joe Biden this week to appear on television and burn his face masks if he wants to convince the American public that the COVID-19 vaccines work.
Speaking on Fox News, Senator Paul – who is also a medical doctor – addressed claims by Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s chief COVID adviser, that those who have taken the vaccine can still spread the Chinese coronavirus.
It’s a claim so insane that the CDC itself already said it isn’t true.
On March 30, the director of the CDC Dr. Rochelle Walensky told Rachel Maddow on MSNBC that “vaccinated people do not carry the virus – they do not get sick.” She added that this was true “not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in the real-world data.”
And Senator Paul knows it.
“If Dr. Fauci can prove that people who are vaccinated are spreading the disease, I’ll listen to him – but there is no evidence,” Paul said.

Paul then challenged Joe Biden directly.
“If you want more people to get vaccinated, Joe Biden should go on national TV, take his mask off and burn it…light a torch to it, burn his mask and say, ‘I’ve had the vaccine I am now saved from this plague. If you’ll get the vaccine, you can be safe too,’” he added.
It comes at a time when the White House is urging Americans to take the vaccine, which was developed under the Trump administration.
After airing a one-hour TV special filled with celebrity endorsements and a message from former President Barack Obama, and famously buying airtime on Nascar TV slots to appeal to conservatives, the Biden administration announced on Thursday a new campaign to persuade more people to take the vaccine.
Named “We Can Do This: Live,” the vaccination campaign aims to target young people through social media and will include virtual events promoting the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. Celebrities and famous athletes will appear in the campaign live to answer questions about the vaccine.
NBC reported that the goal of the campaign is to reach Americans “directly in the places where they already consume content online, including social media, podcasts, YouTube, and more.”
Imagine just how much more effective it would be if President Biden just filmed himself burning a mask on TikTok?
