“Queen” Band Member Comes Out Against Cancel Culture

(FreedomBeacon.com)- A member of the legendary band “Queen” has come out in support of the culture warriors, saying that he was “ambushed and completely set up” after he made comments condemning cancel culture and the radicalism of the transgender political community.

Brian May’s words were totally misreported by a journalist, the legendary guitarist said. His comments came as he talked about what Queen may look like in 2021.

“I’m sure we would be forced to have people of different colors and different sexes and a trans person,” he said.

“But life doesn’t have to be like that,” he added.

Also accurate.

May said that people can be separate and different and that while his generation made a lot of mistakes, not everyone in his generation was wrong and not everybody in today’s generation are right.

He insisted that many people from his generation are being called out despite having done a lot of good throughout their lives.

May said that he worries about cancel culture, suggesting that some of it may be good but that it may also bring “bad things and injustices.”

He noted how Freddie Mercury, the singer for Queen, was not White British, and that even though he was from Zanzibar, nobody cared and considered him a friend and a brother.

On the comments, he recently published an Instagram post saying how a British journalist ambushed him and made him appear unkind to trans people.

“I should have known better than to talk to those predatory Press hacks,” he said.

Brian May is totally based.
