Pelosi De-Humanizes Trump, Calls Him A “Creature”

( Over the weekend, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi promoted abortion, blasted the Supreme Court, fearmongered over the end of Roe v. Wade, and whined about former President Trump getting three justices confirmed for the Supreme Court.

In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash during Sunday’s “State of the Union,” Pelosi admitted that Democrats want voters to focus on the possibility that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

She claimed that the “genius” of the founders was they created a Constitution “that enabled freedom to expand,” adding that this is what the Supreme Court did when it granted “marriage equality” and made abortion a “right.”

Yes, but the Supreme Court doesn’t have a role in amending the Constitution. That is left in the hands of Congress and the states.

Pelosi said because the Supreme Court might “take back” the “right” to abortion, Democrats want voters to know that “freedom” is “on the ballot.”

Dana Bash interjected that “many Democrats are angry” and people are “despondent” over the leaked draft of Justice Alito’s opinion. She said Republicans have run on overturning Roe v. Wade for decades and claimed these “angry,” “despondent” people think Democrats should have seen this coming.

But Pelosi didn’t agree, asking who would have “suspected” a “creature like Donald Trump” would become president when he was “waving a list of judges” supported by “the far right” and getting them appointed to the court.
