North Korea Marks Historic 10 Year Anniversary

(FreedomBeacon.com)- North Korea hosted a series of ceremonies to commemorate Kim Jong-un’s ten-year rule after his father, Kim Jong-il, died. They celebrated the young ruler for ‘scientifically’ seeing through the law of the growing revolution and his foresight and wisdom.

According to the dictatorial North Korean government, Kim Jong-il died in December 2011. His son legally became the leader of the communist Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the country’s only legal, political party. North Korea has maintained its distinctive cruelty under Kim Jong-un, holding tens of thousands of people in tormenting work camps for “crimes” such as suspected Christianity or being connected to someone who isn’t sufficiently enamored with the Kim family. Under Kim Jong-un, North Korea conducted the majority of its known nuclear weapons tests in 2013, 2016, and 2017.
The anniversary comes as South Korea prepares to inaugurate President-elect Yoon Seok-yul next month. Yoon, a conservative, has pledged to rebuild ties between Seoul and Washington DC, which have deteriorated under current liberal President Moon Jae-in, primarily as a result of his failed attempts to normalize relations with North Korea.
Kim Jong-un’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, threatened to deploy nuclear weapons on South Korea last week before “lunatic” Yoon’s inauguration. Last week, satellite data revealed new activity at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site, which has held six nuclear tests.
According to the state daily newspaper Rodong Sinmun, the most important event organized in North Korea to commemorate Kim was a national conference of senior political figures on Sunday. The WPK Politburo showered Kim with adoration for his enormously successful tenure as the country’s leader.

Kim himself spoke at the gathering honoring him, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). Kim boasted that he put the nation on the status of a full-fledged military force armed with an all-powerful physical means of self-defense.
Kim was also honored with an art show comprising outstanding art pieces displaying the features of President Kim Il-Sung and Chairman Kim Jong-Il as great individuals, according to North Korean news. Kim Il-sung is Kim Jong-un’s grandfather and the founder of the Communist Party of North Korea.
On Friday, holiday celebrations are planned for Kim Il-sung’s birthday, dubbed the “Day of the Sun” by the communist leadership.
During a news conference last week, US Special Representative for North Korea.
Sung Kim warned that Pyongyang would probably attempt to mark the Day of the Sun with a military provocation.
