Natalie Portman And Husband Rumored To Be Separating

After accusations surfaced of an affair between Natalie Portman’s husband, Benjamin Millepied, and a younger lady, the couple decided to divorce.

On Monday, it was reported that the couple had broken up after making efforts to mend their relationship after allegations that Millepied had been unfaithful.

A close friend of the actress said that the split rumors are just that: rumors and conjecture and that no decision has been made.

Millepied, 46, is reported to have had an affair with a lady 25 years his junior while married to Portman, 42.

Voici, a French journal, published a piece in June in which he alleged that Millepied had an affair with a younger woman, a climate activist called Camille Étienne. However, people in the know stated that a source said the rumored romance with Étienne was “brief” and “over.”

Portman allegedly stopped wearing her wedding ring after the cheating scandal became public knowledge. She purportedly found out about her husband’s infidelity in early March, and the pair had split last year but reconciled.

The couple is still together despite the affair rumors, as a source earlier verified. The insider told reporters he realizes his mistake and is doing what he can to win back Natalie and keep the family intact.

Portman is Israeli, and Millepied is French; they have a 12-year-old son named Aleph and a 6-year-old daughter named Amalia.

They first met in 2009, when he was hired to choreograph her Oscar-winning performance in the psychological horror thriller Black Swan.

The happy couple engaged in 2010 and tied the knot in Big Sur, California, 2012.

The 2018 dark musical drama film Vox Lux starred Natalie Portman as a lady who escapes a school massacre only to become a pop sensation, and Millepied once again collaborated on the film’s choreography.

The couple’s marital problems were reportedly discussed openly by crew and cast members during the 23-day filming this past November.
