(FreedomBeacon.com)- In a one-on-one interview on Face the Nation, the sainted Anthony Fauci declared criticism of him “dangerous” because it is criticism of science.
Host Margaret Brennan asked the diminutive narcissist about lawmakers like Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz who have demanded Fauci resign and face prosecution for lying to Congress. Fauci dismissed it as nothing but “noise,” and warned that Paul and Cruz are criticizing science because he, Saint Fauci, is the representative of science. “That’s dangerous,” Fauci added.
At one point, Fauci laughed at the idea that he should be prosecuted, then scoffed at Ted Cruz adding, “What happened on January 6, Senator?” As if Ted Cruz having nothing to do with the 3-hour riot on January 6 is somehow illegal but lying under oath before Congress is not.
Fauci then implied that Senator Ted Cruz should be prosecuted for Jan. 6. "And I'm going to be saving lives, and they're going to be lying," he added.
He also proclaimed: "I represent science! … And if you damage science, you're doing something very detrimental to society…" pic.twitter.com/tdlQ5vdTj1

This man is a dangerous megalomaniac.
On Monday, former Bill Clinton advisor Naomi Wolf had some harsh words for the arrogant Fauci when she appeared on Steve Bannon’s podcast. Wolf accused Fauci, as well as CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, of “covering up a gigantic crime.” She said Fauci’s performance on “Face the Nation” is proof that he knows that.
Wolf told Bannon that when Fauci’s “friends” are no longer in charge, “there will be investigations” and subpoenas, and “Fauci should be scared of an investigation.”
Perhaps Wolf is correct in thinking that, with Republicans in control of the House, Fauci and Walensky may find themselves under investigation. Congress may very well create a select committee to investigate the federal COVID response, China’s involvement, the lab leak theory, everything. But it is probably premature to believe those investigations will result in prosecutions.
If Republicans take the House in January 2023, the Department of Justice will still be controlled by Merrick Garland and his radical Left minions. Republicans may refer Fauci to the DOJ for lying to Congress, but that’s as far as it will get. The decision to prosecute would be in the hands of Biden’s Justice Department. It would be naïve to think his DOJ would lift a finger to move against Anthony Fauci.
