(FreedomBeacon.com)- During a radio interview on Sunday, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich slammed Speaker Nancy Pelosi, calling her a dictator with “no respect for the rule of law.”
In other news, water is wet.
Gingrich told “The Cats Roundtable” host John Catsimatidis that Pelosi breaking every single rule and running things entirely on her own is the “most destructive thing I’ve seen done by any American politician” in a long time.
But it is also par for the course for Nancy Pelosi.
Gingrich lays at Pelosi’s feet the border crisis and the ever-rising inflation that will no doubt only continue crippling the nation thanks to Pelosi forcing through gigantic spending bills.

And the Pelosi hits just keep coming.
On Thursday, Speaker Pelosi announced a new order lifting the salary cap of Congressional staffers. Under the new policy, the new salary cap for House staffers is now $199,300 a year – up from the previous maximum salary of $173,900 a year.
In other words, some top House staffers will now be in the position to earn more money than the Congress members they work for.
Rank and file members of the House earn $174,000 a year. Even the majority and minority leaders in the House who earn $193,400 will be out-earned by some House staffers. The only member of the House who will still out-earn the top paid staffers is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi herself who earns $223,500 a year.
Pelosi claims that the increased salary cap will ensure that Congress can “recruit and retain the outstanding and diverse talent” they need.
Meanwhile, regular Americans have seen any nominal wage increases wiped out by the dragging inflation and rising consumer prices. These are the regular Americans whose taxes cover the salaries of the staffers whose wage cap Nancy just increased by just over 11%.
Is Pelosi a dictator?
Perhaps. She certainly doesn’t care about the rule of law.
But what is more obvious is Nancy Pelosi, who claims that her party is fighting “for the people” doesn’t give a single damn about the people whose tax dollars she spends like a drunken sailor.
