Most Republicans Want Ron DeSantis As Trump’s VP

( Not only do most Republicans want former President Donald Trump to run for the White House in 2024, but polls also show that Republicans want him to choose the popular Republican Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, as his running mate.

According to a new poll from Morning Consult and Politico, 27% of GOP voters believe that the former president should pick DeSantis if he runs for office for a third time in 2024. Incredibly, 15% of GOP voters still think that the former president should pick former Vice President Mike Pence as his running mate again – despite a major disagreement between the two men over the issue of election fraud in the 2020 election.

Trump has already confirmed, however, that he will not choose Pence as his running mate in 2024 as most voters won’t “accept” it.

“Mike and I had a great relationship except for the very important factor that took place at the end. We had a very good relationship,” Trump told the Washington Examiner earlier this month. “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.”

Vice President Mike Pence has also made it very clear that he doesn’t see eye to eye with the former president on election fraud, claiming that the 2020 election was won by Joe Biden fair and square.

Choosing DeSantis is certainly an interesting idea – and no doubt a ticket that would be hugely positive for the United States – but what would it mean for Florida?

Can we be certain that there is a Republican governor as staunchly pro-freedom as DeSantis who could take over and lead Florida as well as he has?
