(FreedomBeacon.com)- It was reported last week that former First Shrew Michelle Obama will be delivering one of her sanctimonious speeches at a so-called “democracy summit” in June that is sponsored by a completely partisan voting group she helped to create in 2018.
Barack’s bitter half will be giving the keynote address on the final day of When We All Vote’s first Culture of Democracy Summit in Los Angeles which runs from June 10-13.
The planned “democracy” summit is hitting all the Democrat hot-button narratives, from “protecting democracy” to “combatting voter suppression” to “ensuring equal access to the ballot box” as a way to attack voter integrity and election security in advance of the November midterm elections.
The summit is sure to be four exhausting days of histrionics, over-the-top hyperbole, and conspiracy theories over Republican states enacting election integrity laws.
And if there’s anybody who excels at histrionics, hyperbole, and conspiracy theories, it’s going to be an Obama.
But if you were looking for a silver lining after 2-years of COVID-related restrictions, there is one here.
This will be the first time the public has been subjected to the insufferable Michelle since before the pandemic began. The last time Michelle made a public appearance was in February 2020 when she appeared on stage with television host Oprah Winfrey in New York as part of Oprah’s wellness tour.
After that, Michelle went into isolation, blessing the public by keeping a low profile.
The June “summit” will also feature a bunch of Hollywood Leftists, including Tom Hanks (who no doubt will narrate some video or another), his wife Rita Wilson, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Lopez, “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, the purple-haired soccer player Megan Rapinoe, among others.
Every single one of those celebrities is a highly partisan Democrat, which is ironic since Michelle claims her When We All Vote organization is “nonpartisan.”
Of course, the “nonpartisan” claim is just as absurd as the claim that When We All Vote’s “democracy” summit is about “protecting democracy.”
