Marco Rubio Blows Whistle On Genocide Coverup

( Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio has demanded that the far-left New York Times explain to the country why its board of editors chose to withhold documents that connect the genocide of Uyghur Muslims in China to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Human rights organizations say that more than one million Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang region of China have been forced into concentration camps where they are routinely raped, abused, or used as slaves to manufacture cheap goods sold to global economies.

In a letter obtained by Fox, Rubio asked the Times to answer the inquiry he submitted last month after the outlet didn’t’ release the 403 pages of leaked documents that they obtained, which reportedly connect communist President Xi to the human rights abuses in the countries.

Rubio said that critically important information within those pages have been hidden from the U.S. government and American people by the New York Times, following a report by the outlet in 2019 that described how internment camps were being built in the Xinjian region for Muslims and other ethnic minorities.

The NYT said in that report that President Xi described the building of the camps as part of new “counterterrorism” laws.

That sounds like something the world should know about, doesn’t it?

Speaking to Fox about the matter, Rubio said that sitting on information like this for almost three years is “really concerning” and reveals that this has been a “selective release of information” in the newspaper’s possession.

Rubio fears that this hugely damaging information might only be the tip of the iceberg, and if the New York Times were to release the hundreds of pages of documentation that are in their possession, it could reveal new and extremely damaging things for China.

So, why would an American newspaper want to cover that up?
