Letter Q Posted On John McAfee’s Instagram Just Hours After His Death

(FreedomBeacon.com)- John McAfee, the legendary libertarian behind the McAfee anti-virus software who was found dead this week after committing suicide in a Spanish prison cell, has sparked controversy with an Instagram post he made before he died.

McAfee, who was known for his trolling of the media, posted an image of the letter “Q” on his Instagram page, sparking wild reporting and hysteria from leftists and media outlets.

The 75-year-old businessman, who was expecting to be extradited to the United States where he is charged with fraud and tax evasion, appeared to post the image of the letter Q at 1:15 PST, after he was dead. It means that he was either able to make the post using software on a timer or somebody close to him had access to his account and posted it to cause controversy in the media.

Since then, McAfee’s Instagram account was deleted by the social media platform, knowing that the dead businessman can no longer kick up a stink or a controversy. The excuse for deleting the account will almost certainly be something along the lines of promoting a conspiracy theory that was linked to the so-called January 6 “insurrection.”

The chances that McAfee really supported the QAnon conspiracy theory are…well, they’re kind of split. McAfee was known for having some pretty wild beliefs, but he was also known for trolling and purposely causing controversy.

Not only did he post a letter Q, in the months leading up to his suicide, he repeatedly posted that if he was to die in prison then it wasn’t suicide. It has since sparked discussion about the possibility that he was killed in prison.

McAfee was in prison in Barcelona while the results of an extradition request were determined.
