Kamala Harris Insider Blames Kamala For All The Problems

(FreedomBeacon.com)- Much has been reported about the toxic work environment that exists over at the office of Vice President Kamala Harris.

A new book written by reporters at The New York Times claims that that environment, as well as public missteps that have been taken by Harris, is the sole fault of the vice president herself.

On Tuesday, Politico reported on some of the details of the upcoming book, called “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.” In it, the authors, Alex Burns and Jonathan Martin of The New York Times, write that Kate Bedingfield, the communications director at the White House, blamed Harris for all the problems happening in her office.

Since just last summer, 10 different members of Harris’ staff have left her office. The latest was Nancy McEldowney, the national security adviser for Harris, who stepped down from her post on Monday.

Harris’s team has quipped that the White House was mismanaging her staff, and that was the main reason why so many of them were leaving their posts.

In response to that, the authors wrote that:

“Bedingfield had taken to noting that the vice presidency was not the first time in Harris’s political career that she had fallen short of sky-high expectations.

“Her Senate office had been messy and her [2020] presidential campaign had been a fiasco. Perhaps, she suggested, the problem was not the vice president’s staff.”

In response to the Politico report, Bedingfield denied that she ever said those words. She sent an email to Politico that read, in part:

“The fact that no one working on this book bothered to call to fact check this unattributed claim tells you what you need to know. Vice President Harris is a force in this administration, and I have the utmost respect for the work she does every day to move the country forward.”

Those comments are very similar to many that have come out of the White House in response to questions or criticisms about Harris and the job she’s done as vice president. It wouldn’t be all that surprising, then, if Bedingfeld did in fact say what was written in the book, but wants to publicly back the vice president as the Biden administration continues to falter.

According to the book, there initially was a united front between President Joe Biden and Harris, but that all started to come apart in June of 2021, following Harris’ trip to Central American countries that revolved around the growing migration crisis.

While she was there, Harris was criticized for comments she made to NBC News when she was asked by Lester Holt when she’d visit the U.S. southern border with Mexico.

Her response was quite sarcastic. She said:

“And I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.”

That was only apparently the first crack in the united front. Since then, more cracks have formed, and a wide gap apparently now remains — one that many believe is the sole fault of Harris.
