(FreedomBeacon.com)- It was reported last week that Joe Biden told former President Barack Obama that he will be running for reelection in 2024.
Sure, Joe.
What are the chances the Democrats want old Joe to run again?
The problem is, even if Joe decides not to make a fool of himself in 2024, the Democrats’ prospects without him aren’t much better.
Joe’s heir apparent, Kamala Harris, is so deeply unpopular that she makes Biden’s approval numbers look good by comparison. And that isn’t an easy task since there is nothing good about Biden’s approval numbers.
According to Five-Thirty-Eight, the Vice President’s average approval rating as of April 21 was an abysmal 32.1 percent with 58.1 percent disapproval, putting her 26 points underwater.
In the Trafalgar poll released last week, Kamala’s approval was a grim 28.5 percent with a staggering 62.6 percent disapproving, putting Kamala Harris 34.1 points underwater.
In the same Trafalgar Group poll, Joe Biden’s approval rested eleven points higher than Kamala’s at 39.6 percent while 55.3 percent disapproved, putting Biden 15.7 points underwater.
The same Trafalgar poll has Republicans beating Democrats in the generic congressional ballot 48.1 percent to 39.4 percent.
This should be a huge red flag for Democrats heading into the November elections.
The Trafalgar Group is one of the most trusted and accurate pollsters out there.
Trafalgar’s Thursday poll is grim news not just for the upcoming midterms, but also for 2024.
It was reported last week that staffer number thirteen is quitting the Vice President’s office.
Kamala’s Chief of Staff Tina Flournoy will be the highest-ranking staffer to quit the Veep’s office. Flournoy will be replaced by Lorraine Voles, one of the strategic communications temporary staffers hired last year to try to bolster Kamala’s public image.
Flournoy was tapped as Kamala’s chief of staff in December 2020.
In addition to Flournoy, Kamala’s deputy chief of staff, Michael Fuchs, will also be scampering for the exits in the coming weeks.
