Joe Biden Tells Republicans To Go Eat Ice Cream In Mocking Attack

( President Joe Biden has long enjoyed softball questions from the press, and an apparent unwillingness to grill him when he dismisses questions with “jokes,” but the latest incident with the president outside yet another ice cream store really takes the biscuit.

On Thursday, President Joe Biden traveled to Celeveland, Ohio, where he gave a (teleprompter) speech about the (terrible) state of the U.S. economy. And during his trip, he stopped off at an ice cream shop to get his favorite – chocolate chip.

“Mr. President, what did you order?” someone shouted amidst a media scrum, to which President Biden responded, “Chocolate, chocolate chip.”

It’s almost identical to the multiple instances of journalists asking the president what flavor he got when he visited ice cream shops during his 2020 campaign.

Journalists chuckled and even cheered on the president, as if he’d said something profound. And when a journalist finally decided to ask him a real question, namely about his thoughts on the Republicans blocking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s controversial, partisan effort to establish a 9/11-style “January 6 Commission,” the president dismissed the question with a joke.

“Eat some chocolate, chocolate chip ice cream,” he said.

The journalists once again chuckled and cheered him on.

Do they really think it’s acceptable to just let the president ignore questions by cracking jokes?

You can see the clip for yourself below.

On May 18, Biden did exactly the same thing when a journalist asked him about the ongoing terrorist attacks directed towards Israel by Palestinian terrorists.

A journalists asked if they could talk about the problem, to which the president – who was sat in the driver’s seat of an electric truck – said “No, you can’t, not unless you get in front of the car as I step on it.”

Can you imagine the media response if President Trump behaved like this?
