Hunter Biden Reportedly “Courted” Russian Oligarchs In Private Dealings

(FreedomBeacon.com)- According to new information, Hunter Biden’s business interests reportedly included wooing Russian tycoon Vladimir Yevtushenkov for real estate proposals. The Russian oligarch’s participation in producing weaponry for the Kremlin during the invasion of Ukraine has sparked criticism about these meetings that took place during the Obama-Biden administration.

Russian spokespeople confirmed that Vladimir Yevtushenkov met with Hunter Biden but said there was “no follow-up.” Regardless, Yevtushenkov’s absence has been noticed among President Biden’s extensive list of sanctions against Putin imposed since the invasion began in February.

Vladimir Yevtushenkov was jailed on money-laundering charges in September 2014, just a few months after his run-ins with Hunter Biden. These accusations were withdrawn in January 2016 after a politically motivated investigation. Because of these thawing connections with the Kremlin, Yevtushenkov has become a prominent subject of inquiry in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Putin’s military uses a drone manufactured by the Russian oligarch’s firm to strike Ukrainian towns.

Hunter Biden’s Yale classmates Devon Archer and former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson Chris Heinz launched Rosemont Realty in 2008. In 2010, the Biden son joined the firm’s advisory board and became a co-owner. The emails below, acquired by the Daily Mail, show a digital paper trail connecting Hunter Biden’s Rosemont business to Russian interests linked to Yevtushenkov.

On the 23rd of April, 2011, Devon Archer said he was on a cultural emersion tour. He says the weather is nice, 60 and sunny. He said it was a nightmare getting in and being at the kremlin.

On the 15th of November, 2011, Devon Archer explained to a colleague that his purpose in Moscow was to make a real estate pitch. He said that based on their early answer to the real estate fund pitch, it appears that he will be returning quite a bit, and he will be able to arrange some time then. There doesn’t appear to be anything pressing based on his phone chat, but he’s looking forward to seeing him.

Devon Archer, a friend of Hunter Biden’s, was jailed in February 2022 for a plot to defraud a Native American tribe of $60 million in bonds.

According to the Daily Mail, Hunter Biden had dinner with Vladimir Yevtushenkov, President of the Russian Holding Company Sistema, on February 16, 2012.

Independent journalist Vicki Ward revealed in a Substack that Russian millionaire Vladimir Yevtushenkov met with Hunter Biden at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City on March 14, 2012.

November 13th/14th, 2011, Devon Archer says he is in Moscow at a gym. His first meeting was at 11 am. He said he had eaten some bear meat the night before.

Ward received independent confirmation, along with a message confirming the arranged breakfast:

According to a reliable source, Yevtushenkov may have diverted from his planned itinerary, but he did make the journey to the United States. A Sistema official confirmed that Yevutshenkov met with Biden as a matter of routine and that Yevtushenkov was looking for commercial prospects. According to the spokeswoman, there was no follow-up after that meeting.

Mr. Yevtushenkov met with “Rosemont Realty” in Dallas, Texas, the following day to inspect their real-estate portfolio. Fast forward eight months, and according to the Daily Mail, Devon Archer advertised that he would be meeting with “Evtushenkov” on the 27th and 28th of January 2013.
Archer wrote in an email that he was with him and his team, and they’d be examining our commercial office investment program. In the afternoon, they’d visit one of their buildings, A $110 million office building in the DC submarket, with a Dulles view, illustrating our portfolio holdings. Hunter Biden would be joining them both.

Elena Baturina, the widowed mayor of Moscow, sparked interest in Yevtushenkov. A representative for Yevtushenkov denied that he and Baturina worked on joint projects but would neither confirm nor deny that she introduced him to Hunter Biden. According to Ward’s reporting, Baturina had a stake in Rosemont Realty’s properties. She also claims Devon Archer assisted in introducing Hunter Biden to these Russian businesses.

It’s also worth noting that Baturina sent $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC on February 14th, 2014.

As a result of the United Kingdom’s sanctions, Russian billionaire Vladimir Yevtushenkov surrendered his Sistema firm. The relevance of the Ukraine-Russia conflict is that Yevtushenko’s “Kronshtadt” supplies the Russian army with “Orion” drones. International sources confirmed that they were employed on the battlefield.

This is despite the fact that President Biden’s use of sanctions was widely publicized before and throughout Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Biden imposed economic sanctions due to Putin’s choice to invade a neighboring nation and urged other Western governments to follow suit. It’s unclear how the media’s recent discovery of his son’s links to a Russian tycoon will affect how Joe Biden’s current Russian response plan will be affected.
