Hillary Clinton Sides Against Parents

Former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton declared her support for Disney on Tuesday, siding with the company in its “war” against Republicans and parental rights advocates.

It was on Twitter that she made her declaration.

Disney, the media and entertainment giant has been at the center of contentious cultural disputes as conservatives like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have criticized the firm for becoming too liberal.

Clinton said as Republicans declare war on Disney, she knows whose side she’s on. She made the remarks beside a photo of her and her family laughing it up with Donald Duck.

The former first lady has been blasted on Twitter for siding with “the groomers,” referencing Disney’s recent efforts to “sexualize children.”

Former Arizona congressional candidate Josh Barnett remarked, “We all used to love Disney until they started trying to sexualize our children.”

He said when you keep your distance from kids, he doesn’t care what you do or who you believe you are as an adult!

Barnett said that no one, regardless of their orientation, should ever have to deal with sexualization of any kind.

Disney is set to sponsor an event that will be held in the company’s Orlando theme park. It will be promoted as “the largest LGBTQ+ conference in the world.”

At the Out & Equal-sponsored event, attendees will learn about and discuss efforts to advance “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights in the workplace.”

Disney came out against the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in 2022, also known as the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act.

Disney’s involvement has drawn criticism from various Republicans, including the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, who claims that Disney is going against the wishes of parents who overwhelmingly supported the bill.

In response, DeSantis said in January that he planned to install a state-appointed board to replace Disney’s current self-governance. A month later, he signed legislation to accomplish that very thing. He predicted, “The corporate kingdom is finally coming to an end.”
