Harvey Weinstein Photos Show He’s Looking Rough

(FreedomBeacon.com)- In advance of his rape trial later this month, Harvey Weinstein recently appeared macabre in a Los Angeles court.

Reports show the 70-year-old producer will begin defense on 11 charges of sexual assault, including forceful rape. Conditional examination of a witness was being heard in court, according to a clerk at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

Following allegations that Weinstein assaulted five women in hotels in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills between 2004 and 2013, Weinstein was extradited from New York to LA last summer. One morning after being sent to California in July 2021, he entered a not-guilty plea for those offenses. Weinstein appeared weakened in July as he was wheeled into court by sheriff’s deputies for the arraignment hearing.

His attorneys have been working to decrease the number of people accusing him or giving evidence against him. If Weinstein’s current appeal, in which he disputes the validity of the allegations against him, is successful, he may then face a new trial in New York.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the allegations he is up against in California include forcible rape, forceful oral copulation, two counts of sexual battery by restraint, and one case of sexual penetration by use of force. According to the statement, the defendant was accused of raping a woman in a hotel between September 2004 and September 2005. Additionally, he was charged with raping another woman at the Beverly Hills hotel twice in November 2009 and 2010.

Reports show this follows the judge’s denial of his request to postpone the trial until after a movie release on his case in November. Weinstein’s attorney, Mark Werksman, contended the movie She Said’s firestorm of publicity might prejudice the jury and harm his client. But on October 10, LA Superior Court Judge Lisa Lench decided that the Weinstein trial should proceed as scheduled.

The prosecution’s witness list includes a lot of people. Therefore the trial is anticipated to go on for six to eight weeks.

All who knew about Weinstein’s behavior and encouraged it, or looked the other way, should be publicly named and shamed.
