Franklin Graham Says He’s Grateful For Trump’s Supreme Court Justices

( After Friday’s Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, the Reverend Franklin Graham praised former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence for nominating conservative justices to the Court.

During an appearance on Newsmax’s “The Record” on Friday, Graham told host Greta Van Susteren that he knew one day overturning Roe v. Wade would happen, adding “because it’s the right thing.” He said he was grateful to Trump and Pence for working to nominate conservative justices and said the Court’s ruling was the right decision.

Graham noted that over 60 million unborn babies have been killed since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, calling it “a genocide against the unborn.”

Graham admitted that he wishes abortion could be “wiped out completely,” but added that Friday’s decision didn’t make abortion illegal in the United States. Instead, it only sent it back to the states to decide on abortion laws.

While Graham conceded that many states will still permit abortion, he described Friday’s ruling as “a step in the right direction.”
