Former Melania Trump Aide Slams Her In New Book

(FreedomBeacon.com)- According to the newly released testimony transcript from the January 6 committee’s questioning of Melania Trump’s former Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham, the former First Lady didn’t trust White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and was “very wary” of some of the people Meadows cleared to meet with former President Trump in the White House residence.

Grisham’s transcript was among the records released by the now-defunct January 6 select committee before the 117th Congress adjourned.

During her testimony, Grisham told the committee that the former First Lady was “very wary” of people like Rudy Giuliani and attorneys Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis “who were coming up into the residence and talking to the president.”

When asked to explain Melania’s frustration with Mark Meadows, Grisham said Melania didn’t like the way Meadows treated Grisham and felt as if he was allowing “a lot of people who were maybe being harmful to the president” or giving him “bad advice” to meet with Trump in the Oval Office or residence.

Grisham explained that Melania “never liked it” when people told Trump “what he wanted to hear rather than the truth or the reality of the situation.” She said Melania thought Mark Meadows “was always just playing into [Trump’s] hand.”

Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney asked Grisham if she could recall a particular instance of when Melania expressed dismay over the stolen election conspiracy theorists coming to the White House.

But Grisham couldn’t recall any specific incident, instead telling the committee that Melania generally “hated when people would come to the residence” because it was her home and she wanted privacy.

She said she could remember Melania telling her “towards the end” that there were constant meetings in the Yellow Oval, the room in the residence, that included “various people.” Grisham said that Melania got “very upset” about it because nobody gave her a heads-up in advance to make sure she wasn’t “walking around in a robe.”
