A frightening incident involving a vehicle striking a police officer after a routine traffic check has been captured on bodycam footage. It happened on the evening of July 5th, during the long Independence Day weekend.
Kalin Hall, a deputy from Hillsborough County, Florida, attempted to pull over an erratic BMW in Tampa, Florida. Deputy Hall was about to engage in a traffic stop discussion when the motorist suddenly sped off.
About twenty-five minutes later, Hall saw the vehicle parked and decided to approach once again.
What transpired caught him entirely off guard. The BMW suddenly lurched from its parking spot and accelerated right toward the officer, knocking him down and running over his legs.
The officer, in pain, screams for help.
The suspect fled, sparking a three-day hunt that culminated on Monday with the issue of an arrest warrant.

Chronister said that when Lewis drove away, he contacted his girlfriend while behind the wheel to ask for a ride before he abandoned the BMW.
The 23-year-old Garrison Keilise asked her mom to pick up Lewis.
Reports indicate that the suspect then contacted a 24-year-old buddy named Zachoiry Carnegie, asking for help evading the police.
The two rented a car and began to gather their belongings when they were apprehended.
