(FreedomBeacon.com)- Fetty Wap, who is apparently a famous rapper, was arrested on federal drug charges last week.
The singer, whose birth name is William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested at the Citi Field stadium in New York during the Rolling Loud music festival last Thursday, according to local news outlets. He was then expected to be arraigned later on in the day.
And just to familiarize ourselves with the kind of celebrity we’re talking about here, take a look at one of his music videos:
What a great influence for our kids…
Anyway, back to the story.
This isn’t the first time that William – or “Fetty Wap” – has had a run-in with the law. Back in 2019, he was charged with a misdemeanor count of battery after an altercation with somebody at a casino in Las Vegas. Reports suggested at the time that he was also being investigated for allegedly hitting a woman that same year.
And then, back in 2017, he was arrested for drunk driving on a suspended New Jersey license. He was only caught after he drew attention to himself by drag racing his vehicle in Brooklyn.
Why, exactly, do we allow people like this to become celebrities in the first place?
Now that he’s been arrested on federal drug charges, perhaps he might see him put behind bars, and not glorified by our media and appearing on young Americans’ screens as somebody to look up to.
