(FreedomBeacon.com)- Elon Musk took another shot at Twitter, saying the social media network was biased against half the country.
Musk, who is scheduled to pay $44 billion for Twitter, reacted to a post that suggested everyone would be treated fairly on a fair network. But as it is, you could be banned for criticizing, not even threatening, “Woke” progressives, while conservatives can be sent death threats without consequence.
Musk announced on Twitter that a platform could not be deemed inclusive or fair if it is skewed against half of the country.
Both tweets were part of a chain that began with a remark from Libs TikTok that claimed radical leftists accused her of being a domestic terrorist. According to reports, she received at least a dozen death threats, and Twitter had not deleted any of the accounts associated with the threats.
Raichik further claimed that Twitter employees were debating whether to ban her account and that she had screenshots of internal discussions.
Reports show the owner of Libs of TikTok, a then-real estate salesperson Chaya Raichik, was outed several months ago by leftist operatives. Media Matters describes Libs of TikTok as a wire service for the broader right-wing media ecosystem.
Musk has previously railed against Twitter’s left-wing bias, which the company has disputed.
According to news reports, the Tesla CEO has stated that he would enable former President Donald Trump to rejoin the social media platform. After the Jan. 6 attack on the US Capitol, Twitter deleted Trump’s account in January 2021 for alleged “incitement of violence.”
Musk said this month that he would vote for Republican candidates in the forthcoming midterm elections in 2022, a departure from his typical Democratic leanings, reports reveal.
According to a source, who cited an email from Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal to colleagues, Musk will talk to Twitter, Inc. employees this week for the first time since unveiling his $44 billion bid in April.
Media reports show that Twitter intends to have a shareholder vote on its sale to Musk by early August, as it works “constructively” to close the transaction with the world’s richest person.
Musk’s attorneys informed Twitter earlier this month that if the business fails to produce the data he needs on spam and bot accounts, he may walk away from the contract. Twitter has stated that it is still sharing information with Musk.
