(FreedomBeacon.com)- An editorial board is going hard after former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is also the former personal attorney to President Donald Trump, over his relentless campaigning for election integrity.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch purposely courted controversy on Monday when an opinion piece was published by the outlet outrageously claiming that Giuliani should be disbarred in all 50 U.S. states for peddling what they called “fake news.” The piece incorrectly alleged that the former NYC mayor told lies about election fraud in 2020.
Giuliani, however, collected thousands of sworn affidavits from people who witnessed election fraud in the last election, and held hearings to state legislators presenting the evidence.
What about this is fake news?
The Post-Dispatch editorial board said that the full disbarment of former NYC Mayor Giuliani is a “hopeful possibility” and that the legal profession is sick of Giuliani’s “fake news.”
They did not, however, cite any evidence that the legal community as a whole, or in general, feels that Giuliani should be disbarred.
Isn’t this just more evidence of that witch hunt former President Trump was talking about?
The editorial board then brutally called Giuliani a “liar,” and suggested that Giuliani is responsible for “helping motivate” the January 6 riot in Washington, D.C., which has been described by politically motivated Democrats as a “violent insurrection.”
Giuliani is currently fighting a $1.3 billion lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, which claims that he lied about evidence of fraud.
And instead of citing the lawsuit and the ongoing litigation, the Post-Dispatch chose to side with Dominion.
Why doesn’t anybody want to wait and see how the evidence plays out in court?
