(FreedomBeacon.com)- During an appearance on The Michael Savage Show, former President Donald Trump warned that the media is suppressing conservative voices on purpose in the same way that the suppression polls in the run-up to the last presidential election tried to convince Republican voters not to turn out in support of Trump and Republican candidates.
In the podcast interview which was published on Tuesday, Savage asked Trump if he could see America “melting down” under the leadership of the Biden administration.
He answered, “it is,” and went hard at the “closed” media.
Trump said that by simply looking at the border crisis and “what’s going on with justice,” the “closed media” was contributing to America’s demise – not just Joe Biden.
“We don’t have an open and free media anymore,” the former president said.
And if anyone should know, it’s him.
Trump slammed the press for refusing to properly report on the many failures of the Biden administration so far, from the border crisis and the Israel crisis to inflation and continued high unemployment.
“They don’t want to hear anything,” the former president said, slamming journalists for failing to write about any of it.
He described the behavior as “collusive,” slamming the press as working together to elevate then-candidate Joe Biden in the run-up to the last presidential election and maintaining their behavior well into Biden’s presidency.
Trump noted how the press would about certain topics – presumably talking about the many scandals of Hunter Biden – and said that it is effectively the “beginning of communism.”
What else can you call it when the media colludes to get one candidate elected by refusing to cover stories that would change the nation’s opinion on one candidate?
