De Blasio Now Offers to Bribe Children To Take A Jab

( Far-left New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has already tried everything he can to get New Yorkers to get vaccinated, going as far as banning unvaccinated people from entering indoor restaurants and venues. And now that children can be vaccinated, he knows that banning them from restaurants probably won’t be enough to force them to get it.

So he’s switching back to bribery.

Mayor De Blasio announced last week that he would begin offering children $100 to take the vaccination at school or any other city-run clinic.

The City NYC and Chalkbeat both reported that a $100 vaccine “incentive” would be given to children on a pre-paid debit card. Children may also choose free tickets to city attractions and sporting events across the city.

De Blasio told the press that he “really wants” children to take advantage of the offer.

“Everyone can use a little more money around the holidays, but more importantly, we want our kids and families to be safe,” he said, without acknowledging the fact that the COVID-19 virus rarely affects children in any significant way.

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 are now eligible to get the vaccine in the United States, which has sparked controversy and debate nationally about whether or not it is wife to give children an experimental vaccine to treat a viral condition that won’t affect them.

Even if children take the vaccine, it appears that they will not be permitted to remove their masks while in school in New York.

Dr. Jay Varma, a health adviser to the mayor, said that they are “very thankful” that their “measures to keep transmission controlled in schools has been working” and that they feel as though there is an obligation to continue them.
