Christian Bale Reveals What Would Make Him Play As Batman Again

(FreedomBeacon.com)- Actor Christian Bale answered the question nobody was asking when he explained what it would take for him to agree to play Batman on the silver screen one last time.

Bale is one of several actors who donned the black cape for the big screen. He starred in the Christopher Nolan trilogy, “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” and “The Dark Knight Rises.”

The Nolan Batman movies earned about $2.5 billion worldwide.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Bale was asked about possibly returning to the role. He said nobody ever brought up the possibility of his playing Batman again. He said when he made the trilogy, he had a pact with Christopher Nolan to make three films and then walk away.

The only way he’d consider changing his mind on that is if Christopher Nolan came up with another great Batman story and asked Bale to do the role.

Yes, what the world needs is another Batman movie.

There just haven’t been enough Batman movies, have there?

Since actor Michael Keaton starred in Tim Burton’s “Batman” in 1989, four actors besides Christian Bale have played the Dark Knight.

After Keaton came actor Val Kilmer who starred in “Batman Forever.” Then George Clooney played the Caped Crusader in “Batman & Robin.” Then there’s Ben Affleck who did three Batman movies and will play him again in the upcoming film “The Flash.” The most recent actor to play the part was “Twilight” star Robert Pattison in “The Batman.”
