The singer’s legal team confirmed on Thursday that a battery investigation into the incident had concluded and that the 30-year-old will not be charged.
Lawyers David Chesnoff, Drew Findling, and Richard Schonfeld, there will be no charges against Cardi.
Cardi B had urged the crowd to sprinkle water on her during the outdoor performance in Sin City’s triple-digit heat, but one audience member threw a cup of liquid and ice at her, prompting her to hurl the mic into the crowd.
The song’s instrumental accompaniment kept playing.
Security then seems to calm the incident in the crowd while Cardi fixes her hair.
There were reports of fans waiting two hours in 112-degree heat for the celebrity to come up and perform in Las Vegas.
The hip-hop artist was so uncomfortable with the heat in Sin City that she allegedly begged her admirers to pour water on her.
Cardi B changed outfits and posted a photo on Instagram later that day to show off her new look while out with Offset and some friends.
She and her husband, Offset, have been accused of infidelity scandal accusations since their joint tune, Jealousy, was released on Friday.
The actress changed into a plunging red dress with halter straps and a pair of substantial wraparound red sunglasses to show off her considerable endowments.
Despite being seated throughout the video, she smiled broadly and panned the camera down to expose her hourglass body and full costume.
Later, she made a clip of herself with Offset, dressed casually in a leather jacket and baseball hat, and flaunted his expensive diamond teeth.
The Grammy winner responded to a commenter on Instagram who called his adultery charges “a stunt” to generate attention with the words, “It wasn’t no STUNT.”
