(FreedomBeacon.com)- During a Monday interview with WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said that some 56% of Americans are wrong and that they were actually better off under the Obama/Biden administration than under the Trump/Pence administration. He made the insane comment when asked by a reporter what he thought about a new poll showing how 56% of Americans believe that they are better off now than they were four years ago, under the Obama/Biden administration.
The Gallup survey asked registered voters between September 14 and 28 whether they felt better off now than they did four years ago, and 56% of people said that they do. The number is not only the highest on record for an incumbent president entering re-election but is particularly interesting given that the United States is in the midst of a pandemic and an economic crisis as a result.
Fox News reported how the numbers suggest that voters “still have a strong economy that carried through the majority of Trump’s term in mind,” which would seriously come into play in the November 2 election.
Biden wasn’t too pleased to hear about it.
“Gallup reported last week 56% of Americans said they were better off today than they were four years ago…would’ve been under Obama/Biden administration,” a reporter said to Biden. “So why should people who feel they are better off today, under the Trump administration, vote for you?”
Biden, looking uncomfortable, said that, “if they think that, they probably shouldn’t.”

“They think 54% [sic] of the American are better off economically today than they were under our administration?” he continued. “Well, their memory is not very good, quite frankly.”
Hear that, voters?
Biden then went on to say that the president doesn’t share the values of most Americans and that he isn’t “honest” with people.
But if a majority of Americans believe they are better off during a pandemic than they were in the middle of what Biden says was a historic economic recovery, what does that say about Biden’s ability to run the country and manage the economy?
The numbers are a good sign for President Donald Trump. Pew Research Center said that roughly eight-in-ten registered voters say that the economy is one of the biggest factors in making their decision this election. Pew also said that the economy was the top issue of the 12 ones offered to respondents.
